CeramTec Switzerland successfully concludes its summer edition of the Zeramex meet & learn event series at the production site in Spreitenbach (CH)
On 21 June, dentists from Germany, Switzerland and Italy visited the CeramTec production site in Spreitenbach (CH) and participated in the summer edition of the Zeramex meet & learn event. The event program included presentations from Dr. Jens Tartsch, President of the European Society for Ceramic Implantology, Mike Moynihan, Director International Sales, and Klaus Pettinger, Zeramex Area Manager, as well as hands-on training and a guided factory tour. Throughout the event, the participants actively used the opportunity to ask the speakers different questions.
The Zeramex meet & learn event series was launched with the idea of engaging in a science-based dialogue with dentists working in the field of surgery and prosthetics, fostering exchange of experience among colleagues.
One of the event highlights was the presentation by Dr. Jens Tartsch. Dr. Tartsch presented the current state of research in the field of ceramic implantology, showed several clinical cases with 7-year Zeramex XT follow-ups and explained his approach in ceramic implant dentistry.
Richard Monteil, R&D Engineer, guided the guests through our product portfolio.
Klaus Pettinger, Dental Technician & Zeramex Area Manager, presented the prosthetic possibilities of the Zeramex XT system and supported the participants during their hands-on training.
Mike Moynihan, Director International Sales, CeramTec Switzerland, reported on the importance of the immunological aspects of the implant material as well as the current state of research in this field.
