Zeramex Meet & Learn with Dr. Thomas Franke
Immediate implant placement is gaining attention among implantologists for its clinical benefits and improved patient experience, including reduced chair time. Dr. med. Thomas Franke has placed over 2’000 Zeramex XT implants, many of those immediately after tooth extraction. In collaboration with the Charité University, he is conducting a comparative retrospective of a large cohort of Zeramex XT implants placed immediately and delayed. In his presentation, Dr. Franke will outline his immediate implantation protocol, share key insights from his learning curve, and highlight essential aspects of the study.

Speaker
Dr. med. Thomas Franke is an oral-maxillofacial surgeon with a background in medicine and dentistry from the universities of Kiel, Innsbruck, and Berlin. He completed his surgical training at the Malteser Hospital in Flensburg and the Trauma Hospital in Berlin, followed by a research position at Charité Hospital. After further training in Neuruppin, he qualified as a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery in 2015. That same year, he established the Biological Center for Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry in Berlin, which he has been leading ever since.
