Overview of the event
About the course
The Zeramex anatomy course in Graz offers you the opportunity to learn and deepen various standard treatment options in implant dentistry on human specimens in a practice-orientated manner. Through the combination of lectures and hands-on training, you will be able to perform the following procedures:
- Implantation
- Sinus lift
- Soft tissue management
You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and perfect your skills under the guidance of experts. You will also get an update on the latest techniques and developments in the field of ceramic implantology, have the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues and learn more on the latest trends and challenges in implantology.
On the first day, you will be welcomed by the Head of the Department of Implantology at the University of Graz, Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Payer, and will receive the first basic information in the subsequent lecture by Prof. Dr. Dr. Michael Stiller. A city tour is planned as an option, weather permitting.
Saturday is all about hands-on training. Dr. Dr. Thomas Mehnert will tell you about his many years of experience in the daily use of Zeramex ceramic implants and show and analyse his study of over 400 implants with a 5-year follow-up.
You will be introduced to the modern anatomy workstations at the University of Graz. The specimens will be prepared according to the Thiel method developed in Graz, so that a particularly lifelike visualisation of the skin, tissue and vessels is possible. Prof. Stiller and Dr. Mehnert will demonstrate the exercises for sinus lift and soft tissue management and then perform them with the participants. There will also be the opportunity to place the Zeramex XT ceramic implants under supervision. Our staff will be happy to assist you.
