We cordially invite you to our ‘Zeramex Meet & Learn’ event featuring a lecture, a hands-on training and a production tour. The 7th edition of the training series will take place on 25 September 2025 as part of the 3rd European Congress for Ceramic Implantology.
A highlight of the event will be the presentation ‘Material matters: lessons learned from ceramic implants in total hip replacement’ by Dr Alessandro Alan Porporati, Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs at CeramTec Group.

Speaker
Dr. Alessandro Alan Porporati is a distinguished expert in zirconia-based materials and has extensive expertise in the field of hip arthroplasty. He has been involved in the development and clinical application of high-performance ceramics for orthopaedic and dental implants for over two decades. He currently works as Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs in the medical products department of the CeramTec Group in Plochingen, Germany.
